The Apalachicola River has its headwaters in the mountains of norther Georgia, at Amicalola Falls. The Chattahoochee and Flint rivers join together to form the Apalachicola at Lake Seminole. Our Blueway Trail starts at Chattahoochee and extends to Apalachicola Bay - 107 miles.
